Jon and Cindy Anderson
LEADERSHIP & COORDINATION
Jon and Cindy Anderson lead the team that leads Centre Church. They planted Centre Church, together with 7 friends, at the beginning of 2016, when they felt God calling them to plant a Church in Johannesburg.
Jon and Cindy grew up in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. They met at a gap year program at 1Life Church(formerly NCF Church) and were married in 2002. They have two beautiful daughters.
They served for 16 years as full-time staff members (and latterly as elders) at 1Life Church, where they led a number of church sites, teams and ministries.
Jon and Cindy are passionate and practical in their approach to ministry. They have a God-given gift and desire to equip people to use their gifts to radically influence their communities for Jesus, and in turn, build the Church
Tim and Gwen Watts
COMMUNITY & PASTORAL CARE
Tim and Gwen form part of the Community team and head up Pastoral care. They joined Centre Church at the beginning of the plant when they felt God calling them to be a part of something fresh.
They have been married for over 30 wonderful years and have raised two incredible adult children. Tim and Gwen and have been involved in various outreaches and ministries and have a passion for loving and serving God’s people together.
John and Tanya Lowth
CONNECT GROUPS
John and Tanya are a beautiful couple who love people. They oversee our Connect Groups at Centre Church. We feel that church is made up of two lungs, Sunday meetings and Connect Groups. Its a precious space where discipleship can happen.
